- Where are my recordings and notes stored?

.mdfiles on your device. Edit them, search them, share them, or open them in Paperlane Editor — no Scribe account and no proprietary lock-in. - Does recording keep going in the background?
- Yes. Scribe keeps recording when the app is in the background or your iPhone is locked.
- Does Scribe send my audio to error404?
- No. Processing happens on-device wherever possible, using Apple's own technology. We don't run a transcription cloud. See the Scribe privacy policy.
- What's free vs Scribe Pro?
- Free covers recordings up to five minutes. Scribe Pro unlocks unlimited recording length and smart AI documents.
- What versions are required?
- iPhone needs iOS 17 or later.
- I found a bug. How do I report it?

- How do I request a feature?
